Our Philosophy
Small incremental steps lead to joyful accomplishment!
Less is better. You are generally not going to reach your goals any quicker by pushing yourself too hard. Be gentle with yourself. Learn to listen to your body. Gradually push yourself through barriers.
Safety is key. At the point you fall, injure yourself, or feel extreme pain, you will no longer be moving along the path of joy and exhilaration. Let’s ensure you have a safe environment so you can confidently process with your exercise routine – and your life – without the fear of bodily harm.
Time Commitment
2 sessions a week with a maximum time of one hour. If you have done limited physical activity in the past 6 weeks, the maximum time will be 30 minutes.
Get Assistance
You are responsible for your own success! But a key part of that success can be involving others to support you in reaching your goals. Your team of success could vary: you can hire a personal trainer or enlist the help of family members. Perhaps you can team up with a training “buddy”. Even just share your training goals with a friend and have them check in with you regularly to hold you accountable.
Select Your Program
Physical activity is a habit. Perhaps you have not had this habit in your life, or, you have taken a break of months or years. Let’s get going on forming the habit of vigorous physical exercise! It will feel invigorating, be easier than you think, and you will experience some joy as you awaken your body.
To get started, choose the “Level” below that best fits your situation. Schedule and commit to two sessions a week for the next three weeks. We will gently and steadily build your strength and confidence in using your athletic body.
Level 1. You have not done any physical activity in the past 6 weeks or more.
